at garts Favorite place to ride: Cottonwood Canyons: little and big Riding Style: All Mountain/Freeride Product Year: 2001 Summary: Overall, a very strong boot. Great heelcup design. Strengths: Flexible, but not overly. Bomber materials, bomber liningd. Very warm. Weaknesses: Metal buckle breaks and breaks. I finally took off the whole buckle and they worked great after.

at Board City Favorite place to ride: Alps, Mt Baker, Whistler. Riding Style: All Mountain/Freeride Product Year: 2001 Summary: Got these at a sick price of $100 (i think they retail for around $230) so i picked them up to use with some new Switch X Types i just bought.
First time using Heelside but had heard they were excellent boots. Totally right - these boots are great. Super comfy, excellent support, no heel slippage, great control and feel, metal ratchet system, good inner liner. Plastic lacers so they don't bend like metal ones do. No real complaints at all. All round awesome boots.
I've tried Vans and Northwave boots also. The Vans (axel) were good boots with the Vans name and great custy support behind them, the Northwaves were good also (very comfy boot)- but the Heelsides are just as good as both and i got them for a great deal. If you want great boots - try these out. Strengths: None Weaknesses: None Similar Products Used: None
