Favorite place to ride:
Canyons

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:

Summary:
this board is SICK!!! Light weight, decently fast, very stable, turns on a dime! Not extremely durable but the control is unbelievable.

Strengths:
Unbelievable control. Fast and very responsive.

Weaknesses:
Not incredibly durable, not flexible enough for the park either. I snapped my in 1/2 in the park.

Price Paid:  $250.00 at Gart - Off Season Sa

Favorite place to ride:
Breck

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
This is a freakin SIC ride! I've had it now for about 3 seasons and I've finally snapped it in 1/2. It's got increadible bounce, great speed, turns on a dime and holds an edge like no other ride I've seen. It's extremely light and super responsive. I've passed skiers on cat walks with this thing!!!

Strengths:
Lots of bounce, med flex, and super light. Very responsive and extremely fast. I've taken this thing anywhere from the backcountry of the Canyons to the bowls of Vail and countless parks, this ride is SOLID!

Weaknesses:
Can get a bit chattery on less than perfect conditions and the top sheet chips pretty easy but other than that, an incredible ride.

Price Paid:  $300.00 at Green Sector

Favorite place to ride:
trees at Mt. Bachelor

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2002

Summary:
Had a Rippey but jonesed for more speed. Then read Dan Solo's post and sounded just like what I wanted - more camber, progressive sidecut, light, and carves like a ginsu. SOLD! Now I WAIT on my skiing buddies at the bottom. This is the most amazing freeride board out there!

Strengths:
Lots of camber gives incredible pop out of turns and really makes the contact points stick landings on big air and track straight when flat at high speeds. Narrow waist allows incredible responsiveness - great in moguls. Absorbs shock with ease. Will simply take you to the next level.

Weaknesses:
Too much for freestyle - buy another board for that and go longer on the Natural than you would normally. I got the 161 but could have easily gone with the 165.

Favorite place to ride:
Heavenly, Jackson Hole, Snowbird, Alpine Meadows, Breckenridge

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
This board will definitely make you a better rider if you're coming from a board w/ softer flex. Awesome if you like to ride in deep soft pow.

Strengths:
Very responsive, minimal chatter when riding fast, and tons of pop.

Weaknesses:
Easy to chip the top laminate.

Price Paid:  $460.00

Favorite place to ride:
Loveland, A-Basin

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2000

Summary:
I was very happy with this board when I started riding it. Super light, quick turning, and great in any situation. But not durable. The base is soft and damages easily, and also a bit slow. And the topsheet is delaminating underneath my bindings after about 1/2 season of use. If you're looking for a fantastic 1 season board, this is it.

Strengths:
Great all-around. Feels shorter when spinning and longer when cruising. Very light.

Weaknesses:
Soft base, gouges easily. Poor durability.

Burton, Option, Rossignol.
