Review Abstract
As the name implies, this board is timeless. “The board is fast, cruises in the powder hard, carves nice and can be used in the park and pipe,” says one boarder. Others “notice a marked improvement” in their riding and “specifically in turning ability.” Reviewers say that the Timeless “excels in powder and carving,” giving boarders a “fast” ride with “lots of pop.” The “easy turn initiation” and “great edge control” help “inspire confidence” for riders, who “don’t think about the board, only the run.” One plus, a reviewer points out, is the “slick top layer, so the snow will not freeze or pile up in places you need to grab.” Overall, boarders say the Timeless is “classic” and “well worth the money.”

Favorite place to ride:
where ever the snow is

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
Excellent board for those who seek the ultimate high-speed, bombing down the mountain runs. I've boarded nearly every terrain in USA with this board, from the Green Mountains of VT, through the Rockies, Sierras and the Northern Cascades. In all conditions, I've found the Timeless to perform to the standard to which Ride boasts about. People complain that in powder and hard crust the board can be a tough haul, but those Riders lack the ability to carve and initiate turns using only the stiff tail section of the board. This is a Carve Specific deck, and its true value can only be test through a rider who uses torque & form as a method of turning and not forced edge to edge movement. I've taken the Timeless to the level most hard boot riders carve their alpine decks, and I must say, have often left them in my tracks.
Board Specs:
2001 -161cm
Stance width - approx 13"
Front binding angle: 17 degree
Rear binding angle: 12 degree

Strengths:
* Side-cut & Stiffness are perfectly balanced
* Tail is spring & poppy for both take off & landing
* Lightwieght

Weaknesses:
* They made the deck softer for those of you who couldn't handle it...

Don't buy it unless you can ride it

Favorite place to ride:
Holiday Valley

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
Perfect board to learn on. I've been riding this board for the past 2 years, and the more I ride, the more I realize how great the board really is. It has a ton of flex and is very forgiving. I was a skier for 7 years, and I've been riding a board now for 5 years, having the Ride Control has made the transition much worth it. Great board, I'd reccommend it to anyone.

Strengths:
Forgiving board with a ton of flex and ability.

Weaknesses:
Growing out of the board and ready to try sometimg new....like a Ride Timeless.

Riding Style:

Product Year:

Summary:
Overall I love this board!!!
The best freeride board you can buy!!!

Strengths:
Great in hard packed snow, chatter is non existent. Stiffness makes it forgiving when hitting loose patches and ice. Most stable at high speed, just point the nose down and give'er.

Weaknesses:
Not meant for low speed operation. Less forgiving when hitting and landing large jumps as compared to a ride kink for instance.

Favorite place to ride:
Winter Park, CO

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
This board is by far one of the best boards you can buy. It is made mostly for freeriding but you can still take it to the park and do just fine. It holds its turns excellent and hauls ass. Its stiff which means beginners might have some trouble with it. Well worth the money.

Strengths:
Very fast, turns great, freeriding and freestyle

Weaknesses:
base could be a little more durable

Favorite place to ride:

Product Year:

Summary:
Alright, I'm not posting this to say this board is the best thing ever. I'm too new to snowboarding to make that sort of statement, and too aware of how much I need to learn to try to tell you what to buy.

However the fact that I've been boarding two whole times (with zero skiing, skateboarding, surfing experiece) makes me perfectly qualified to tell any other new boarder that the Timeless, at least the year I've got, is not gonna chew you up and spit you out wishing you had stayed with rentals for a season.

On a Timeless I spent my second day boarding trying to connect turns on what amounted to an inclined ice rink scattered liberally with grit and something that in larger quantites might have been snow. Crappy conditions to strap on a board some are saying is too much for those new to the sport.

My 2000 Timeless didnt scare the hell outta me, it behaved like I imagine a good board should, leaving me feeling like every crash was my own fault. The times I didnt bail in a turn felt great, and I cant wait to get back when the conditions are better and my ass doesnt hurt.

If you are new, and think a Timeless will leave you crying dont believe the hype. My bet is you'll be glad you started on a quality board.

Strengths:
Well behaved, seems fast enough (now to add rider skill), understated but very cool graphics.

Weaknesses:
Nothing I can comment on.

A Rossi rental probably doesnt count as similar...so nothing.
