Summary: i bought the BMC snowboard because on its sheer strength to weight ratio, even though i got the 166 which is made for some one 50
LBS heavier than me.
Strengths: extremly fast great control on ice. it was very stable in fast turns.
Weaknesses: not the best for park and pipe. although the lengh made it easy to bride gaps bettween rails and the jump

Summary: Absolutely awesome board. Extremely fast; you don't notice it picking up speed because the ride is so smooth. Loves powder and trees. Also, what surprised me was that it is very stable when straightlining, even on high speeds. All - around excellent board.
Strengths: Fast, responseful, an all - around great ride. Very snappy and quick when you need to avoid a tree or something.
Weaknesses: Almost none; the only thing that I can think of is that it scratches pretty easily. Some delamination problem? I am still very impressed. Also, not for beginners since catching an edge could be disastrous, but easy to do.

Summary: Its got it all. For a All mountain board this performs better on some functions than a specialist board. It may be the best all-rounder ever made.
Strengths: Light, responsive, great edge control. Stiff and precise. Nice simple graphics.
Weaknesses: Price if bought new at about $600. But that's what you pay for when you buy a top of the range Burton. At $220 on ebay I would have to be stoked right?

Summary: Wow! It´s a class of it´s own that Burton threw on the market. Though I was stoked by the price-level first I decided to get one and I didn´t regret it so far. The BMC is most definitely the best board I have ever owned and I had the rides of my life with it.
It´s simply comfortable to ride anywhere you go under any condition; just the right stiffness, easy turning, cutting edges...
But I would advise people who want to start with snowboarding not to start with a BMC since it takes a skilled rider. This board is not such as forgiving to mistakes as a custom or something. Though for the experienced boarder it´s the weapon of choice!
Strengths: wicked fast; very responsive; light
Weaknesses: you´ll look sad when you first scratch the topsheet. Unfortunately that happens easily!
