Price Paid:  $200.00 at Sundance Sports

Favorite place to ride:
Kirkwood, CA.

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
This was my first year riding and my first board. Overall it was good board for a beginner. The price was right and the ride was good. I did notice the rust spots later on in the season and did have to wax it more frequently after the 7 time riding it. I was running this board with the Rosi straps made by Drake and it was a nice combo. Needless to say this board help me to advance as a rider and I will be looking for a more advanced ride for next season.

Strengths:
Smooth easy ride. Decent speed. good for begining riders.

Weaknesses:
Bottom scratches easily, Needs wax as board gets older.

Favorite place to ride:
Kissing Bridge

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
Great board for beginners who have big feet. I have it in combo with Burton freestyle bindings and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Go out and buy yourself one today.

Strengths:
Tough enough to handle my big ass(215 lbs.)jumping all over it. Very easy to turn. Very forgiving because this was my first season riding. Also what the hell is everyone talking about with these rust spots, this board has been out 12 times in 2 months and I have no rust spots. It is also good for people with big feet like me(13).

Weaknesses:
Top sheet does chip and scratch a little easy.

Price Paid:  $189.00 at Silent Sports

Favorite place to ride:
Mount Saint Louis Moonstone

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
Well it's worth the money I paid. Next season I'll upgrade to the Canyon.

Strengths:
Nice and wide...fun to stomp the landings. Wide enough to accomodate my size 13 feet.

Weaknesses:
The edges rust pretty quickly...after 2 full days of riding there's some rust stains. Also, a piece of the metal edge (about 0.5 cm) was chipped off. It's not very manoueverable because of its weight.
