$0.00 Favorite place to ride: Pow Riding Style: All Mountain/Freeride Product Year: 2001 Summary: The Fuel 156 with Burton Mission GT bindings is the best setup for my size and style that I've ever owned (9 years of riding). Strengths: Awesome carvability on new corduroy. Nice in powder (not a lot of powder mileage). Fun in a lot of different conditions. A nice stiff flex that pops you out of your turn and into the air. Very lightweight. Nice graffiti graphics -orange base makes the snow glow under it! Similar Products Used: Burton Supermodel 156 (excellent board)
Nitro Naturals 155 (too stiff)
Ride Fuel 152 (a tad short)

$410.00 Favorite place to ride: Moonstone, Stoneham or Mont Tremblant Riding Style: All Mountain/Freeride Product Year: 2001 Summary: I love this board!!!!! Its responsive, light, fast, its graphics rule and it has a lot of pop too....so it can launch you into the air pretty good. It is also narrower than the Timeless,( i only have size 9.5 feet) so i don't need a big, wide board like the Timeless. Strengths: Turning- with Ride's new Edge Contact System, this board turns soooo quickly and smoothly. Its transition from edge to edge is very good. Speed- the Fusion 2000+ sinthered base is soo fast and is good for launching you of the halfpipe. Graphics- the blue "stripes" on the 148 mixes very good with the glossy white topsheet, and the base is bright orange and it actually glows off the snow. Weight- its light!!!!
Weaknesses: That there is nothin to improve on this board ITS DA BOMB!! ..................... except for the price....$640.99 cdn is a whole chunk out of your wallet!
Similar Products Used: Ride Timeless, Burton BMC

at BoBo's Favorite place to ride: Sugar Bowl Riding Style: All Mountain/Freeride Product Year: 2001 Summary: I started the year on a 2001 Burton Custom until it got stolen. What a break for me, the insurance covered it and I bought the Ride. I never really liked the Burton, it had trouble holding an edge. This is a great board. Strengths: The board is incredibly stable, it inspires confidence. Weaknesses: None so far. Similar Products Used: Burton 2000 Custom 160.5, Duotone Mountain 158

at aquadeals - -ebay Favorite place to ride: killington Riding Style: All Mountain/Freeride Product Year: 2001 Summary: If your serious about taking your riding to the next level, this is your board. It commands respect and will take you down if you turn your back on it! If you can afford it buy it and ride it. Strengths: its t-i-g-h-t!!! This thing is a rocket and insanely responsive. I have the 156. This is my second board, and the one I replaced was a 4 year old piece of Original-Sin s--t. The amount of energy in the edge transfer is spooky. And it seems that whatever I put into it I get back twice over. I'm 5'5, with size 8 boots and It feels like I'm the exact rider they had in mind for this board. The graphics are clean and the orange bottom lights up the snow like it's on batteries. Weaknesses: nothing yet, especially considering I only paid $300 for it in the plastic. To be honest if not for the good deal I definately couldn't it at list, so I guess thats a bad thing. Similar Products Used: no boards I've used can be called similar. I use Ride's preston Lx binding and northwave apollo boots.
