Price Paid:  $380.00 at unlimited banff

Favorite place to ride:
banff / europe

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
I like it because it's light, easy to ride, good if youre trying to improve because the edge grip and ease of control gives confidence. Appearance (mine's orange) gets lots of attention, whether you want it or not! lock it up.

Strengths:
great edge grip, easy to control, cool graphics (despite what all these other reviewers seems to think - personally I don't want to ride a board with skulls/snakes/ other random ugly graphics all over it)...

Weaknesses:
my riding ability.

Price Paid:  $480.00 at Fusion, Boone

Favorite place to ride:
Snowshoe

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2000

Summary:
Excellent board that can be used from the beginning to expert stages. Friend of mine has been riding the same Palmer board for four years now and its still riding strong. Great board if you want to keep riding for 5-8 yrs without getting a new one. Well worth the money

Strengths:
This board has exceptional carving abilities. Virtually effortless to ride. I stay on the slopes from 9-5 and still have energy to study. This is a great board for the beginner or the expert. Handles great in the half pipe and over jumps. Very snappy, stops on a time. Flys down the mountain, nobody stands a chance against you with this board. Honeycomb ensures that the board will not snap in half. I ride a 160 and weigh 190.

Weaknesses:
The graphics are in desperate need. Palmer needs to hire a new graphics design department, these are lame.

Favorite place to ride:
Sugarbowl

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
Turns on a dime, carves well, graphics are lame, try it and you'll probably buy it.

Strengths:
Turns like a champ. Handled suprisingly well in the powder for a non-wide board. If you lean back it will go very fast and carve a pretty clean turn. If you've been riding a large, wide, heavy board like I was you will be shocked by the difference. The board is very lively, but at the same time surprisingly forgiving. Try it, you'll be amazed. If you have big feet like me, try the Palmer Power pads. They really do work.

Weaknesses:
Graphics are weak, but the board's action more than makes up for it as you carve circles around your buddies. Not the most stable at very high speed, but no board can do everything. There should be something between 162 and 167. I'm 188cm tall and I got the 162. I'm very happy with it, but...

Favorite place to ride:
Whistler/Blackcomb

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2001

Summary:
This is a great high energy board. Softer flexing than the Carbon Circle, so a little more forgiving in the bumps and crud. Even though it's softer, it's torsionally stiff so it rails down groomers.

Strengths:
Carves great
Turns quickly

Weaknesses:
Not so great terrain absorbtion
