Price Paid:  $75.00 at Used Item

Favorite place to ride:
Squaw Valley

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2000

Summary:
A typical freeride board in the $350 to $400 range. Not top of the line but definitely fit for intermediate to advance riders. Overall, a very typical freeride board - fast, stable, predictable. The Champ doesn't have any fancy technology that jumps out at you nor does it has any bad point. It's not the best out there but is no chump either. Just another good wholesome board designed for freeriding at a very standard price, nothing more, nothing less.

Strengths:
Reasonably fast base (sinstered 2000), directional side cut for freeriding, slightly-more-than-medium stiff for a combo of stability and speed. It's predictable.

Weaknesses:
Heavily favors the long turn. Like a majority of the freeride deck out there. Designed more toward cruising than going fast. Not ideal for freestyle but you can get away with it if you're good enough.

Price Paid:  $200.00 at www.wiredsport.com

Favorite place to ride:
Hidden Valley

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2000

Summary:
Like I said I have the 169 and it seems to be a little difficult to manuver, but this could be my lack of experience. On another note this board is seriousluy fast, my brother is the same size as me and he rides a Burton Charger and I pass him like it's nothing! This board ROCKS, and at only $200 it's a steal! I got it as a package with bindings and boots for $335.00 shipped.

Strengths:
Lightweight, Tough, FAST! Great price!!!

Weaknesses:
Graphics could be better (but I have seen worse). I got the 169 and have had some trouble turning with it.

Favorite place to ride:
Kirkwood, CA and Snowshoe, WVa

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
1999

Summary:
My Donek Incline 164 is by far the best snowboard I've ridden. Nothing even comes close. It's stable at high speed, carves turns in all conditions from hardpack/icy to crud to powder, and ollies and lands jumps with punch and stability.
Go to www.donek.com and get one. You will be glad you did.

Strengths:
Does everything great. The Incline is just the best snowboard I've ever ridden.

Weaknesses:
None.

Summary:
Most Airwalk boards rock, but I like this one the best

Strengths:
The Airwalk Champ is one of the best all around boards I have ever ridden. It is super smooth and holds a great edge and floats the pow awesome!

Weaknesses:
The sidecut could be a little deeper, but it's not bad as it is.
