Favorite place to ride: colorado, tahoe
Product Year: 2001
Summary: my first board...rented for 5 years, including various saloman's, k2's, burtons. this board is the longest and stiffest i've used and it's fantastic.
i rented mostly 158-163 (i'm 6', 180lbs). the frontier 166 works out fine.
i was worried about not being able to handle it, but it actually makes flying down/carving at speed so much easier because of how it carries an edge.
Strengths: stiff, (mine maybe slightly less stiff since i bought it used)
a great deal

Favorite place to ride: Whistler
Product Year: 2001
Summary: Riding a 166 and this thing is gold for speed and stability due to stiffness. Haven't had any issues with de-lamination - has been quite durable through trees, rocks, japanese tourists, etc. Does require a lot of work in rough stuff.
Strengths: stiffness, stability
Weaknesses: graphic looks like crap
Similar Products Used: Custom, assorted crappy K2 boards.
