Review Abstract
"Fast" and "responsive" is what you will find in the K2 Electra. While being lightweight and having speed is a plus, owners expressed concern over the overall cost of the gear. In this case you get what you pay for. The Electra is able to handle " a variety of terrains well." Mentioned also is the fact that the top sheet scratches easily.” For someone who wants to ride fast and smooth", and if you don't mind spending extra "This is the board."

Product Year:

Summary:
I could be wrong on the year. My board is green with the electra lights. The board is light and quick. I equipped mine with k2 clicker bindings.

This board is great if lke to ride fast, and make quick sharp turns.

It does scratch the top, however, they are superficial unless you care about the look of your board. I do have some board warpation. I can tell you what this is from.

anyway if you ride this board on a fresh wax you will have so much fun in how smooth the ride is.

a bigger size in necassery for powder riding I get stuck easily at 5'11 and 165-170lbs..

Summary:
Nice board...only ridden once, but rides nicer than any other board I've been on. Just wanted to clarify something though...the lights do carry significance. With the piezo-electric damping system on this snowboard, there are certain things that happen. First, the vibrations experienced by the snowboard are transmitted to the primary piezo system. The vibrations are then converted by the piezo system into electrical energy. At this step, there needs to be some way to discharge the energy. That is the purpse of the lights. The lights allow the energy to be used, thereby damping the board...its simple physics...

Riding Style:

Product Year:

Summary:
You can land sick air with this thing, I'm a big air rider, I boucght the 167 board from pontus and I was going to use it for pow pow but now I use it for everything, excpt for handrails and such.
So I think this is a board similar to a borad like burtom custom, you can ride almost everything with it, one differnce is that the electra is way faster!

Strengths:
the stability and speed

Weaknesses:
not that much stance options because of the 6 inserts in fron instead of 8, so you cant have a centered stance on it, but why wolud you want to have that? also the price , but I bought it from a teamrider so for me it was a great deal!

Favorite place to ride:
Alpine Meadows, California

Riding Style:

Product Year:

Summary:
I thought I had the perfect board until it cracked on the third day of use. What the f#$%! K2 makes you take the damn board back to the store to be sent back to K2. It's been a month and I haven't heard anything from them yet. They don't even have a number you can call to talk to a live person. Absolutely no customer service. I just want a board back before the season is over.

Strengths:
Damn fun to ride, light weight, fast, carves well.

Weaknesses:
Integrity and Duribility.
