Description Solid tech configured in a shape to optimize all-mountain performance, for sizes 11 and up. We took the “door” feel out of wide boards when we introduced the Floater, which continues to advance with E...
Review Abstract "If you are looking for a great multi-purpose ride" this is the board for you. The Burton Floater rides fast, stomps landings, and is wider to accommodate people with big feet. This piece of gear is responsive even when riding through "sketchy" conditions. This product has been given our reviewers vote of confidence.
Favorite place to ride: LAKE LOUISE!!! CR OWNZ USA
Riding Style: Groomed/Slalom
Product Year: 2001
Summary: AMAZING beginners board, although the edges are kinda dull+rusty and its delamed in 2 places and it has over tightened bindigs, it kicked ass for 4 straight years, dream on powder, extremely durable, althought topsheat cracks and edges bite, it has lived trough countless stumps, trees, rocks and rails. this ride got me to the expert level where you need a better board to get better. soon i will buy a new 1 and i will definitly keep mine in my closet if i go west. other then that the boards edges arent enough for extremly steep runs and too heavy 4 the park.
Strengths: DURABILITY 4 years of abuse and only a delam, rusty edges, and a cracked top sheat. POWDER rides like a dream in powder, probably would put many powder boards to shame. RAILS its thick+heavy which makes it a very good board to abuse.
Weaknesses: NOT FOR EXPERTS, Except Backcountry
although its a great board it has its limits, once youve learned on it a custom or a canyon is a great upgrade.
WEIGHT its heavy man, no kickers or spinning here.
EDGES AND TOPSHEAT
the edges rust and the topsheat cracks
