Price Paid:  $10000.00 at Ski Stop

Favorite place to ride:
anywhere with good snow

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
2002

Summary:
great board. It's meant to be a freestyle board apparently, but I use it mostly as a freeride board, and I have no complaints. It holds up well on the mountain and in the parks. You can bomb some huge runs on this board and 5 minutes later kill everyone in the pipe. This board flies off terrain features like a rocket. Obviously I love it. and oh man, is it fast. It it kills powder. When other people sink in 2 feet of powder, you keep going. The edges are sick too. I've boarded in some icy conditions and never had a problem. I'll shut up now.

Strengths:
speed, flex, the magical "pop," graphics, overall the board is indestructible (I;ve been riding it pretty hard, and there are barely any dings).

Weaknesses:
if you buy it in a shop...the price (380+). But all boards are pricey, so look for a used one, or catch it on sale.

you'll think i'm crazy, but - I have a 2002/03 burton custom right now, and like my old Darkstar better.
