Summary:
MLY make good borad but the worst warranty dept inthe history of the sport. they do not warranty anything they will try to lie and deceive as you wait and then they'll let you know that ooh we don't warranty that. I own three of their boards and I will never buy from the damn fake japaneese comapany again. oh yes they are rom japan with a American front. they are not worth it.

Price Paid:  $150.00 at ebay

Favorite place to ride:
Mt Hood Meadows

Product Year:
1999

Summary:
Lots of energy in this board, good stability at speed, a little 'bouncy' in the chunky stuff, but if you stay on top of it it cuts through it adequately. A little flexier than some race boards which makes for a smaller turn radius and tight turns for a 183. I will probably use this board mostly for spring type snow as it digs well but isn't so stiff that the tail wants to kick out in low adhesion snow conditions. But I haven't tried it in really good cold snow yet so who knows. Definitly a fun board that is very lively and will keep you on your toes. For racing applications (something I don't do mind you) I would surmise a board that is a little stiffer might be a better bet. I would say for the Price I paid - $150 - it is a stellar value -- however I personally wouldn't pay retail for this deck - but then again I wouldn't likely pay full retail for anything unless is was a completely custom job.

Strengths:
Excellent combination of livelieness, turn radius, and stability for freecarving.

Weaknesses:
might be a little flexy for some and I would prefer a slightly smaller sidecut radius
