Price Paid:  $150.00 at Goldstocks sporting goods

Favorite place to ride:
Whiteface Mountain

Riding Style:
All Mountain/Freeride

Product Year:
1997

Summary:
I bought this board as a last years leftover for an incredible price. I have had this board one season. It is still in perfect shape. I love this board even though I am a dedicated Burton supporter, due to their awesome costumer service.

Strengths:
When edges are sharp it can hold an edge in almost any conditions. It is unbelievably quick turning and when I am going fast it is incredibly stable.

Weaknesses:
It is a stiff board that takes some practice to use effectively. It is too narrow to float in powder, very stiff for the bumps, and is a bit tough to ride in real sloppy conditions. In other words, I wouldn't change this board a bit. Just use other boards when needed.

A variety of carving boards. I freeride with a Burton Supermodel.

Strengths:
This is a nice board for ripping up the local hill. Its a beautiful board to look at.

Weaknesses:
I don't know how common this, but I pulled the bindings right out of the top sheet after about 5-6 times out on the board.

Favorite place to ride:
Mt. Hyak

Riding Style:
All Mountain/ Freeride

Product Year:
1999

Summary:
Exquisite stick for groomed, hard pack and anywhere you like to put a long string of quick turns together.

Strengths:
FAST. It can hold an edge in the nastiest icy conditions at speed. It's pretty good for getting through the bumps too. Very responsive to riders imput.

Weaknesses:
Riding in Deep snow and crud is like walking on a suspended slack rope. But what Alpine board isn't?
