at Alps Mountaineering Summary: I purchased the ALPS Silver Spring 20 degree bag sometime back[to replace my worn-out LL Bean Knife Edge Bag] and all I can do is heap praise on my new sleeping bag. Plenty of room for a broad-shouldered person like me at the top. Plus I really love the Hollofil 2 insulation. Not a bad bag and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The contoured hood is just perfectly designed to fit my head. The only complaint I have is that the zipper gets snagged in the so-called antisnag nylon stripping which runs along the length of the zipper. Other than that, only praise! Thanks Dennis Brune for such a great product! Customer Service: Not bad, very helpful! Similar Products Used: LL Bean Knife Edge 35 degree mummy bag

at company website Summary: Bag was a great value, purchased from the Alps Mountaineering website as a "special buy". Worked well in temps down to the rated temp (20F) for several trips, but after repeated compression has lost some loft and warmth as all synthetics will... Customer Service: Never needed customer service, but bag was delivered quickly at initial purchase. Similar Products Used: Army-surplus down bag; several generic/store-brand sleeping bags.
