at local shop Summary: This is a nice jacket. I like the collar the best. Very high and warm. The design is a good idea but a little lacking. The stretch side panel is too large and the angular shape is unneccessary. I have had this jacket for over 5 years and have found that below 40 degrees F and you must wear a shell. Therefore, it is best used under a shell, as a jacket alone it isn't as warm as it should be. I think it is too expensive also.

at MountainGear.com Summary: I have both the delta R and delta shearling because I purchased both
at 50% off... get 2 for the price of one. Both have been tested, and I
prefer the shearling because it has more insulation. The difference
in bulk is very minimal, and it is better to be too hot than cold. As far as
performance, they both are exceptional compared to other high end
fleece jackets I have tried. They keep you warm and let you breath. Customer Service: Excellent Similar Products Used: The North Face, Patagonia, Mountain Hardware
