Price Paid:  $95.00 at REI

Summary:
I looked at a lot of daypacks and tried on several. When I was in the store and had them weighted down, none of the packst that I tried on fit as well or as comfortably as the arc'teryx. I like the kangaroo pocket and the clean design of the pack in general. Plus, the small hip wings are also nice in that anything bigger would just be unneccesary for the weight that you would be carrying in this pack. The price is steep for a day pack, but then again, all the quality packs are between 100 & 150.

Customer Service:
arc'teryx = never had to use it REI = so far I've never had a problem with their customer service.

Summary:
Pack is functional and comfortable. The steep price is defended by masterful crafting and sheer durability. The Kanga-pocket is great for camelbak etc. Hugs to my back even though Im 6'3. Ive got the medium size, and just love it.

Customer Service:

Reviewed by: Ted ,  Backpacker , from San Francisco

Price Paid:  $100.00 at REI

Summary:
I think this pack is the perfect day pack. I looked at a lot of packs and the Arc'Teryx tall fit my 6'1" frame the best. The kangaroo pouch is great and can hold a lot more than expected. I like the fact that the hip flaps are small as this is a day pack and does not need full hip belts like the Dana. I use this for day hiking and a lot of traveling. The only downside is the funky tapered design for the main area and trying to optimize the bottom of the pack for gear. I also think it is a great size since you can tighten it down to make it small, but it has the capacity if you need it. It has great build quality. Plus, it just looks great!

Customer Service:
The only downside is the price. In the US, it retails for $140 which is steep for a day pack. I got mine on sale at REI for $100 and in my mind, worth every penny. My last day pack was a Jandd that lasted 10years. A lot more technology has gone into these packs since then. After having this pack a few months, I have since bought a Bora 65 for backpacking beacuse I was so impressed with the Bora 30.

Price Paid:  $100.00 at rei

Summary:
I love this pack. I bent the stay to match my spine making the pack very comfortable to wear and easy to move in. The shoulder harness, load lifters, and hip wings work well together making it easy to get a good fit. There is no wasted space in this pack's clever, clean, beautiful design. The ingenious kangaroo pocket really helps me keep things organized. Top notch materials and construction.
