Summary:
The heels have been pre-releasing for a year now, but it finally broke. When I asked the shop about it, they knew all about it. I like the atomic skis, but I'll never buy their binding products or the dealers propaganda of a "new and better design" again.

Summary:
The heel bindings went on my Atomic R11's once and I replaced them. They went again. (Same problem with my friend's Atomics).

The shop said it was a cam problem and it was out of warranty.

Called Atomic and they said go back to the shop and have the shop handle it.

I paid Atomic good money and they gave me a defective and dangerous product that many people have had problems with. Now I'm getting the run around.

I won't do business with them again.

Summary:
I am really upset about this. I have 6 days on these bindings and they are toast. As you all describe, walk right out of them. Further I am informed that no other binding fits my new Atomic skiis that I paid $500 for. So not only are the bindings shot, I may have to throw away the skiis. I am a long time Atomic fan, but if I do not get satisfaction, I will blog them forever and tell everyone I know what crap this binding is.

Anyone had success in returning or is there an Atomic customer service process set up for helping us suckers?

Summary:
And all this time I thought it was something I was doing wrong: improper maintenance or set-up. But I too, have had the same problem of being almost able to walk out of the bindings. I locked the toe and crancked the DIN to the max. I wasn't really comfortable with that but I was still losing my ski in the midst of carving a turn - not fun at any time but especially crappy in powder. To top it off, this past weekend, I lost the entire rear assembly of one binding when the plastic broke at the pivot pin. Like others, I will be looking to replace my bindings with something other than Atomics. I just hope they'll fit on my Beta Carv 9.18s or not only will I be buying new bindings but new skis as well.

Summary:
I've skied my Atomic Xentrix 412 bindings (mounted on Atomic 9.20s) no more than 10 times, and the rear binding springs appear to be completely worn out. I gradually had to increase the DIN setting over time to keep from walking out of the binding. Now, with the DIN set at 12, I can go no tighter, and I can't keep the ski from falling out with even the slightest up lift of the boot heel! Other posts on this site tell similar stories. Is there a way to replace the binding spring? (I doubt it, but I had to ask). I'm not too hot on buying another set of Atomic bindings. Can other manufaturer's bindings be fit onto the Atomic 9.20 board? I'd like to hear what others have done (short of buying a new set of skis and bindings)

thanks
