Dagger Cypress Kayaks

Dagger Cypress Kayaks

DESCRIPTION

The Cypress blurs the line between traditional touring kayaks and recreational kayaks with a design that is stable but yet responsive. If a traditional recreational boat is too sluggish but a long touring kayak is more than you need, try the Cypress. Length: 12'11 ft Width: 26.5 in

I bought my Cypress on a whim and it has been great for all types of water under class 3. It is stable, yet responsive enough and tracks fine. Especially good for AZ canyons.

The product description of the Cypress is accurate: it is a decent starter boat, good for various environments. We've taken ours on oceans, lakes, and rivers and on overnight trips. The boat is incredibly stable. I took my 70 pound dog in the cockpit with me; she jumped out and the kayak barely moved. Tracking is difficult in open water. It is best for calm rivers and bays. It has plenty of storage space and is relatively light.
