at Friluftslageret Summary: Great pack (90+20)! Durable, flexible and very comfortable. The carrying system can be adjusted in various ways to fit any person of average height.
Lots of space. Great in detail. The fabric is very well chosen, and should last for many years.
I like this one better than the Osprey Crescent 90, because the hip belt offers better support. Also the overall quality seems a bit better.
I very much recommend this backpack. Similar Products Used: Osprey, North Face

at REI Summary: I also have the larger 90+20 and it is great for extended Backpacking. It would be nice if it had water bottle holsters and a detachable lid for day hikes. Other then that it is a great pack the only thing wrong with it is that sometimes I pack too much. Similar Products Used: REI Rising Star

at REI w/ 20%coupon Summary: First pack I've owned and I believe I got really lucky. I've used it mostly hiking steep trails in the sierras and it fits like a glove. I'm 6' tall and typically haul about 50 pounds very comfortably. The ladder type adjustment system is very easy to use and allowed me to experiment greatly w/ finding the perfect fit. I hardly even feel the laod anymore. I did have to adjust the stays after some shoulder rubbing on my first trip but this is to be expected. I've been caught in some rain and a hail storm or two and my gear has always remained fairly dry. I bought the big one 90+20, (2000 model). I realize now its way to big for short trips. I'm saving up for a Dana Design New World for shorter trips but I think I'll be fine w/ my Alpamayo for those week long escapes. I highly recomend this pack if you need one that big. at galyans Summary: Bought this pack to go canoe camping in the BWCA. I realize that normally people use duluth packs and the like, but with this pack, I was able to fit everything I needed in the pack including food for a 7 day trip (it had been years since I went camping, so I brought just a ton of stuff, and packed out a ton as well :) ).
The platypus hydration system was wonderful, allowing me to keep hydrated without even thinking about it, and the suspension made the portages very easy.
The only drawback was that the suspension make the pack awkward to load in a canoe, but I think that would be a problem with most modern packs.
I would recommend this to anyone who needs a pack this size. It is very easy to overload yourself with this pack since it holds so much. Similar Products Used: None

at REI Summary: I had the larger 90+20 version of the pack, took it backpacking for 40 days in alaskan brooks range. Great pack, great suspension it does have some gimmics that were unnecesary. The double waist belt was a pain to tighten. It came with a camelbak so it had no water bottle holders. Otherwisei am impressed it came off 40 days of off trail hiking with only one small tear. Customer Service: Didnt need it. Similar Products Used: Dana Designs Astralplane (better pack)
