Price Paid:  $139.00 at Altrec

Summary:
I actually bought an ACT Lite 40+10 - but they don't have it in the listings. I bought this to fill a void I have for weekend trips (backpackig or traveling). I don't like a bunch of exterior pockets, so this pack is great in this regard. The quality is very good. The suspension is adjustable in so many ways, anyone should be able to get it to fit correctly. It is reasonably light wieght (3.7 pounds) and I put a solo tent, bag, stove/fuel, bladder, and food all inside without a problem. The security pocket on the inside of the bag compartment is a nice touch. Handled all of the above like a charm for 2 day/24 mile trip on the NCT here in Michigan. Has clips and strap loops just where you'd need them and the Air suspension really works!

If you take it on a plane - it fits lengthwise perfecly into the overhead compartments AND you don't have to worry about any wheel!

Price Paid:  $0.00 at Altus

Summary:
Overall, a fairly solid pack. The Vari-Quick suspension lets my wife also use this pack when we go on longer trips and I need a bigger pack. Great value for the money paid. Compression straps over the side pockets and the fact that my suspension has a 'squeak' to it is rather annoying though. I really like the seperate sleeping bag compartment that you only see on the high end packs.
