The Therm-A-Rest 20 Degree Down Haven Sleep System Sleeping Bag was chosen as one of the 26 most ground breaking products for 2010 by National Geographic Adventure magazine for good reasons. Being ultralight, ziperless, and durable are important ones. Down insulation on the bottom of a sleeping bag is inefficient and a waste of grams due to the fact that down insulates when it isn't compressed so Therm-A-Rest got rid of it. The Haven Sleep System requires a sleeping pad for real comfort due to this fact, but you can strap this bag to any pad or slip a tapered ProLite pad inside with you for maximum comfort.
