Its tough, water-resistant nylon fabric stops roots and rocks from ruining the floor of your Flint 2 Tent (sold separately), and since it covers the entire floor area while you sleep, it provides a small amount of insulation against the cold earth and adds an extra layer to help keep the rain puddles from leaking though your tentas seams.
