This rod is long enough for small to medium size streams where casts of up to 40' may be required. It's a delicate rod, perfect for little spring creeks. The GLX model, besides being incredibly light, features a very delicate tip that excels when paired with the ultralight tippets required of spring creeks and spooky trout.
