Strength:

I can cast it very well it's not flimsy and I love the Life time warranty, a rock rolled on it one day and I took it to the fly shop and they just handed me a new one.

It's a wonderful rod for the price and the life time warranty is great you don't have to send it in or anything to get a new one you just take it to the nearest fly shop and they hand you a new one.

Weakness:

I''ve heard that some of them are not perfectly aligned, but mine was and casts nicely

Redington, was recently purchased by Orvis. These older rods are nice quality, not great, medium fast rods with some punch to them. They are far from perfect, but for the price they are a good place to start, or pick up a backup
