Strength:

Casts well- both bonefish flies and streamers.

Weakness:

Darn thing broke between grip and first ferrule.

This is the 5 pc travel rod. Intended to be my back up rod. Tried for first time in April 02. Felt nice, casted well, but broke on hookset of a medium sized tarpon. Reddington says they will replace with no problem, when you only hook a few tarpon per trip this is somewhat disconcerting. Will keep as backup rod.

Customer Service

Will send new rod with no questions asked. Did not even ask for proof of purchase, warranty no. ,etc.
