This rod is an awsome nymphing rod, it will pick up any amount of line, for any type of mend. The stiffness of this rod also allows you to cast in any wind that the Madison or Gallitin Valleys can produce.

The only weakness of this rod is when it is used for smaller water. The stiffness doesnt allow for precision presentaions on smaller streams and alpine lakes.

This is a great tod. It has landed many fish for me throughout the years.
