Strength:

Light, well finished, casts like a dream, forgiving, capable of delicacy or strength when needed.

Weakness:

High price in Australia thanks to pathetic exchange rate

My new XP790 is my second Sage, and I''m now a Sage addict! This is a beautiful rod to cast, very light, well finished and casts all types of line long, or delicately, with precision. Makes the Loomis IMX it replaced very ordinary by comparison. My Sage was custom built by the Australian Agents and comes in a cordura case which I much prefer over the alloy tube the factory offers.

Customer Service

Compleat Angler in Melbourne were excellent.
