Great river rod for Large Trout and Light Steelhead, hard to find now, 9'6" is just right, I also use this rod on the Lower Sac for drift boat fishing, all single handed ARC's are 9'6" or 10'. The best fish to date on this rod was a 14lb Steelhead on the American River, the rod did it's job very well, I use a Bauer M3 on this rod, what a combo! Perfect Balance, fish all day, Try the Rio Steelhead Fly Line on this rod, WOW!
