I have the 10' 2 piece 5 weight, which I bought because I 'm in a wheelchair and all my fishing is from a driftboat. The extra length is wonderful for the roll casting of weighted 2 nymph or big hopper/droppers rigs. Gives great feel when fishing wooly buggers that those big browns seem to love.
Customer Service No need for any. Similar Products Used: Cheap Abu Garcia |

Strength:
Great action for all distances in river work; It will cast close in and up to 30 feet no problem.Wont bump fish off on the strike. casts at all angles, side ,overhead, hauling, underhand.
Weakness:
Perhaps the finish leaves something to be desired. I have had two, and they have suffered from gloopy epoxy around the wraps, and a loose reel fitting on the other.Quirky looks. The g904 is the bench mark for all other creek and river rods. Its looks and finish may leave something to be desired in the cosmetics stake, but have no doubt that the action of this rod leaves all the others standing. It has that extra something that makes it stand out.You can use the thinnest tippets and smallest flies with no fear of bumping off fish, like all the other faster taper rods available.Consummate river rod. Customer Service When in Berkley, very good. then they went to some place in Colorado, and I visited the store and they couldnt even bother to see me and say hi.So I would say that customer service for me poor. Strength:
Awesome feel (flex); workmanship and quality components; lifetime warranty.
Weakness:
High retail price; seems a little heavy Got my dream rod on closeout online. I bought the 8-foot, 5 wt because it will throw dries, weighted nymphs and streamers. This rod also has the medium action that I love. Customer Service Haven''t needed it, but understand it is excellent Similar Products Used: St. Croix, Cortland, Fenwick, several custom rods |

Strength:
Action, feel, workmanship (I love the red and gray wraps on the unsanded graphite)
Weakness:
The 3-piece seems a little heavy; at full retail it compares with the best from Sage and Winston, giving you quite a decision to make Was my dream rod that I couldn''t afford, until they were discontinued by Worldwaters. Awesome feel and action, like the fiberglass rods I grew up with. I''ve cast everything from size 6 clousers to size 20 midges. The rod is really at home on short streams, but does everything well. Customer Service Haven''t had to use it. Have heard great things. Similar Products Used: St. Croix, Cortland, several custom rods |
