Strength:
Excellent performer, high quality, a pleasure to cast, set the hook and land the fish. Lifetime warranty. And it doesn't cost a fortune.
Weakness:
none I grew and learned to fly fish on the Upper Yellowstone River and Cottonwood Creek in the Crazy Mountains with a borrowed bamboo rod. Now I live and fish in Arkansas and trout fish tailwaters and one cold spring river as well as fish for panfish in the lakes. The SVS 906 rod is great rod. Whether it's nymphs, small dry flies like a parchute, or big wooly buggers, this rod makes extremely accurate casting a pleasure. The medium action is wonderful to use all day without flairing up my arthritic shoulder muscles. The rod has a great feel for setting hooks and good action for fighting those 10" to 15" rainbows and even larger browns. This rod is great for anyone who wants a high quality, well balanced, sensitive medium action rod. It's well built and finished, casts like a dream and tough enough to handle beginners as well as hard fishing veteran flyfishers. If you use one rod for everything, like I do, the Scott SVS 906 is the one to own. And you won't have to take out a second mortgage to own it. Customer Service Haven't used.
