Strength:

gets you up and out of the water, fills quick due to air valve, comfordable, looks great.

Weakness:

the super fat cats front is a little bulky in design,it feels like the front sits up higher than the back.that and no rod holder.

I have the fat cat and the super fat cat and enjoy them very much.I see other float tubes and think the fat cat looks the best.

Strength:

+ Riding high and dry gives you better leverage & visibility. + Storage compartments are plentiful + Feels very safe + Very manuverable + D Rings are great! + Outcast customer service + Outcast makes great products + It puts me in great spots to catch fish!

Weakness:

- Would like find an easy way to mount rod holders - The Fat Cat has handles, but carrying the tube to water more than 3 blocks away is a challenge. - While I like the foam cushion, I'm uncertain if I'm supposed to remove it and let it dry after each usage.

I am very pleased with my Outcast Fat Cat purchase. I purposely waited to log a number of hours on the water before writing this review. My intention when shopping was to purchase a tube that is safe, well constructed, easy to use, rides high and one that I wouldn't be compelled to upgrade to a different tube in a few months. So far so good! I've got about a dozen days on the Fat Cat now and have managed to fish small and medium size lakes and the California delta for Bass. The delta was the most challenging, with currents and boaters, but the tube handled it with no problems at all. It's easy to inflate and deflate, especially with the 2-way river boat pump. I'm just 21 full strokes per pontoon away from tubing. The D rings and pontoons have allowed me to "customize" the tube to attach a fish finder, a 3-rod holder, live-well and pliers. Storage is plentiful and allows me to take all the lures necessary and then some! Plus digital camera, food, even has room for a cooler behind the seat. Now if I can only rig a trolling motor....

Strength:

A Dry backside, seat comfort, nice storage area behind the seat, dual bladders, large pockets and excellent construction.

Weakness:

A carry strap included in the price would have been a nice touch, but it wasn't too difficult to find some webbing that worked for me.

What a kick (and dry) ass tube. This is like going from a Poo' canoe to a loaded BassTracker! It navigates easily, I really do feel high and dry and as ever in this day and age you get what you pay for.

Strength:

Overall quality, good design, easy to inflate and use.

Weakness:

Biggest problem is that there are no velcro straps to lash down rods, etc. I nearly lost my Hexagraph rod because there was nothing available to hold it while I was putting on my fins. The design needs to be modified. The manufacturer should provide a couple of velcro strips along the length of each storage compartment and across the ends of the tube so that you can secure a couple of rods.

Nice tube, easy to inflate and fish from. Loved the front entry and the way this thing moves through the water. Seat and back rest are very comfortable and the Fat Cat is very stable and easy to maneuver.

Strength:

Solid construction, stable and fast riding through the water and excellent storage space all bundled together in one excellent package.

Weakness:

A tad difficult to line up the bladders properly. It is not the lightest float tube out there (10 lbs.), but if you pack it up to your favourite lake, you will be sitting in the lap of luxury.

This is a fisherman''s wet dream. It has wads of storage space (I use the space behind the seat for special beverages and my net), glides through the water and feels incredibly stable. The seat is solid but comfortable and can double as an unlicensed life preserver if BOTH pontoons happen to spontaneously explode (not likely at all with this construction). I will never go back to sitting my arse in the water in a conventional float tube.

Strength:

I sit several inches higher than a normal tube which allows me to move much, much easier, cast with greater ease and stay warmer.

Weakness:

Causes your fishing partner to be jealous and resentful when you catch more fish without freezing your butt off.

I spent a long time wondering whether or not to buy this float tube and now that I have it I love it and would never, ever go back to my traditional style "ass in the water tube". I''m amazed that nobody thought of this design earlier.
