Bought this bladder system for versatility. Can use it in my daypack and also in my backpacking setup. Worry-free durability...no punctures after numerous outings in overstuffed packs. The huge "zip" opening is great for those who want a fast fill up of hot or cold beverage, and no problems with loading in ice cubes. Wish I would have bought a larger one sometimes, but have never used an entire bladder during a dayhike. Used during a few snowshoe hikes as well, but hose froze up a little if not sipped on regularly. Overall, for the price, I am very pleased with my purchase

When originally purchased, my bite valve was continously leaking and dripping on me. Cascade Designs redesigned it later, and after a quick e-mail to them, they sent me the $5.00 replacement free
