This is a great pack. It is more than I would usually spend on a daypack, but it is a quality product. And very stylish!

It has features that are hard to find in packs of this volume. The aluminum stay allows you to really load it up, and makes it mold to your back for a perfect fit (when properly adjusted). The hip wings are just enough in a pack of this size-- a fully padded hip belt would have been overkill and too bulky, and a plain webbing belt is just silly on a serious pack. The top accessible pouch and the kangaroo pouch are handy. Compression straps and daisy chains leave lots of places to strap on stuff, if your daytrip suddenly turn into a mini-expedition. The only feature I'd like to see would be an adjustable height top pouch-- it would facilitate overloading! And mesh side pockets would be nice, too.

It is currently underutilized as my daily work and gym bag, but I can't wait to try it out on the crags this fall. I don't think it will ever replace my Dana Bombpack, but it will make a great alternate for light days.

Quality of workmanship is superb. The kangaroo pocket holds alot more than it looks. Great looking pack to boot!

Not bad for the price. I would prefer more pockets or deviders or something. Finding small stuff in the big compartment will take a while. Pretty comfy during long hikes. Definately durable.

Superb! While this pack doesn't have Arc'teryx's nifty suspension design, it is pretty light, and has a really comfy shaped, supportive back. Lots of lash points. Well-made. Big outside pocket. If I lost it I'd get another one. If you want one, call MEC (www.mec.ca is a bad website but has their phone #). The pack is much much cheaper than REI would have you believe. but then so are most things...

Customer Service

i had the bora 40 and exchanged it for the bora 30 b/c it fit my needes better and less bulky. attempted to contact the manufacturer via e-mail from their web page but they never responded. this seems to be a common complaint so i would say their service must be poor.

THE best daypack out there. Bought mine today at MEC. 120 CAN total. Bought the original years ago, gave it to sibling. I got it in APPLE GREEN and it smokes! It's got a key clip, stay AND FRAMESHEET. Kangaroo pocket is really useful for seperating wet or dirty items from the rest, ie climbing shoes and chalk from the gym. If you're EVEN THINKING of getting a daypack get this. Oh and this one has loadlifters too.
