I have written on the Gregory Denali Pro and mentioned that the Granite Gear Cirrus Access 6000 is my favorite pack. I guess I should explain why. Again, the Gregory is an amazing well-built pack with tons of features that exceed most of our abilities. However, like many of you I wanted the ultimate pack; a pack that I could find the least amount to gripe about. The GG Cirrus Access 6000 is, in my opinion, the pack that accomplishes this the best presently. It is a very techy pack. I have never experienced one as easy to load and organize. The loading system is ingenious in that the YKK #10 zippers aren''''t under any tension. The tension is taken up by the two sets of three compression straps inside and outside the pack body. It doesn''''t have a sleeping bag compartment, but I count this as a huge plus. Because of this, it is not necessary to have a summer bag to fit in the little zippered slot found on most packs. On the Gregory, the small opening is difficult to fit a larger winter-size bag. Also to utilize the sleeping bag space in the Gregory is difficult. Not so with the Granite Gear. I can put any size bag on the bottom where it should go and pack small stuff around it very easily and then continue on with the rest of my packing. It should be said that with an internal frame pack, it is critical how it is packed, more so than an external frame pack. This pack is the easiest on the market, period. The other thing I like is the revolutionary suspension system. I have found it to be the most comfortable out there having tried the top brands. It is far more (my opinion) than the Gregory. I discovered this when I climbed Gannett Peak in the Wind River Mtn. Range. The approach to this awesome peak is about 25 miles one way which necessitated me carring this pack, loaded to about 65 lbs, about 50 miles over very uneven terrain. I came pack with a little red on my hips (no bruises), a painless back and shoulders, and a pack that looked like it had hardly been used. I was super impressed with its performance and wished that others serious into their really personal gear (items such as their sleeping bag, pack and underwear) would consider this an option. I definately wasn''''t bothered by not being able to customize the stays, but very thankful that I didn''''t have to (the carbon fiber sheet is very asthetically pleasing). That is why this is my favor
