Nice pack. 5500cc good for 3-8 days or longer with a group. Very versatile with straps and adjustments galore. The best thing about the Access pack is the ability to lay the pack down, pull two zippers, and pull your tent/sleeping bag out without unloading the whole dern thing. This pack is light and durable. It has a preformed composite backboard with ample padding and saves you from the discomfort associated with oddly shaped objects in the pack. The fit is excellent and very adjustable. This pack is designed to put the weight on your hips as the shoulder straps are to stabilize the load and hug it close to the body (if needed) for ascending/descending --this can be adjusted on-the-fly. It also has a feature called "Cruise Control" that uses straps around the bottom of the pack to enable your hips to swivel naturally while still maintaining a stable, centered load balance. Excellent pack for the money.
