Once again, very impressed with Gregory for making an awesome pack. This pack will haul everything and keep your back and feet happy in the process. I am glad I invested in Gregory AGAIN!

Another graet product from gregory, very comfortable, and good job in shifting the weight to the hips. Good material used, waterproof, comes with a interior hydration pack. Top removable to become a hip pack though look ugly and not very functional. More exterior pocket would be nice.

I tried several packs, to include the Dana Terraplane, before I purchased the Denali, and I must say that this pack is very well-constructed. The fit is a bit fickle, but once you have it right this pack is very comfortable and makes carrying heavy loads easier. I don't think the pack bag collapses enough to make it conducive to carrying light loads, but I am still fidlling with it. Overall, this pack is very good.

Customer Service

I dealt with Gregory once with another pack I own and they were very responsive.

What can I say?..... AWESOME PACK! I've had this pack for over a year and a half now, and it has treated me extremely well. The packing room can't be beat and this pack has handled the heaviest loads I could carry with a tremendous amount of stability. Extra points on the overall waterproofness, and comfort. I also enjoy having the option of the convertable top into a daypack option, even though I haven't had any reason to try this yet. The only drawback I can possibly think of would be the relatively conservative sleeping bag compartment, and the weight of the pack ofcourse which is around 7.8 lbs I believe. Both aren't much of a worry for me, the weight is just a few ounces more than other packs this size, and the sleeping compartment just takes getting used to.

Best pack I've had for hauling big, bulky winter loads. My Lowe Contour IV is good for summer but couldn't handle loads over 40 lbs comfortably. Lots of space for parkas, winter bags, etc. Bells and whistles are few (good!) but the ones such as the hydration pack and the lid waist belt can be removed if not needed to lighten it. The access panel works well for getting at things buried in the hulking interior.

I love this pack! I tried on alot of packs before I bought this one - it was the most comfortable for my shape. It's extremely well made and carries a load very comfortably. I think it may outlast me. I liked the design of the Dana Terraplane X better but it didn't fit me right even with numerous belt/shoulder harness swaps. Like boots - your pack has to fit YOU right don't listen to the Hype.
