Fabulous pack. It holds a great deal. I've had it on weeklong trips in Spring and four nights in late winter. I've yet to fill'er up. Holds all my gear with ease. The removable top pouch makes a great pillow. The many straps make it easy to attach stuff to the pack to increase the load. The Straps Also, make for a tight load and come in handy for hanging things. I really like the load adjusters which pull the pack forward for uphill Hikes.

The Best Pack I've ever Owned ! ! !

After being out of the back country for years due to raising a family, I decided introduce my 5 year old twins to CO. My Lassen was loaded to 63lbs.,food,tent,3 sleeping bags, etc. It preformed like hero. Rode beautifully, and the side compartments enable me to handle the demands of kids. If it can that, it can handle anything.
