The Reality is the most comfortable pack I have ever worn. The stealth hipbelt and shoulder harness are the major comfort contributors. No more bruised hips!! The expandable size and semi-light weight are also good reasons to consider this pack. Customer Service I have returned older backpack items to Gregory for replacement and have always been satisfied with the customer service. Similar Products Used: Dana Design Terraplane X |

After a lot of research and going to several different shops I choose this pack because of the suspention system, pack design and size. Customer Service Customer Service was extremely helpful with the many questions I had before purchasing. Similar Products Used: None |

One of the best all around packs out there. Incredibly wellbuilt. This pack fits closer to my body than any others i've tried(see below). I really like the panel access. Makes it easy to get stuff out while hanging in the trail shelters. The Reality carries very well with up to 35+ pounds. Any more and you'll have sore shoulders. My favorite part is the hipbelt. Its so light you don't even know its there. The only thing I'd change is to give it full size clips dor the lid rather than the 3/4 inch ones used. It's hard to do/undo them with mittens/gloves on. This is a great pack! It is the largest of the small packs offered by REI. It is also lighter than comparably sized packs. The internal volume is probably underrated. I can get 4 to 5 days of gear into it without using the external straps of the storm sleeve extension. Once you have loaded it you can snug the pack tight around the contents in every direction to consolidate the load and prevent it from bouncing around in the pack. |

This pack though heavy offers great comfort and extremily easy access to stored gear.I did experence a failure of the shoulder strap attachment where it joins the top of the backframe .This was repaired at postage cost only. This failure happened slowly so it wasn`t a problem. Customer Service See reveiw. |

Got on special from Mountianzone maketplace for around $175--REI has them in stock for $229. VERY comfotable and so many attachment sites! Many adjustment buckels. It does get warm d/t snug fit vs. external frame where air can circulate. Most comfortable pack I've ever used--probably 600 days worth of experience. |
