The Gregory Teton is a well-made pack with excellent balance and feel. It can be easily adjusted to fit one's contours for a snug yet comfortable fit. I've done a little mountain climbing and higher altitude hiking and have found the pack to be top-notch, lightweight and sturdy. The inside is easily accessed through two major openings, and has a removable fanny pack on top for short jaunts from your campsite. I would recommend this pack to ANYONE interested in serious gear. Athough the price tag was a bit steep (around $275), it is worth it's very low weight in gold.

I have used this pack for several trips in rugged terrain. It is incredibly comforatable, and sticks to my back like a parasite. I really like the way it moves with me. It handles heavy leads very well. Drawbacks: I wish it had more pockets. The sleeve for a bladder is difficult to use. Even Gregory's pocket doesn't really fit very well. I wish it had loops on the top for crampons, etc (this is a standard feature on the expedition packs).

Customer Service

Gregory has been pretty good about responding to e-mail questions regarding their products.
