I loved this pack. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it serves the purpose. It's got great space, feels wonderful. I thgink Gregory has some of the most comfortable packs. Its a bit older now, so if you see it on sale, nab it!

It's too bad that other packs on the market (and many of the other packs in Gregory's lineup) don't follow the Thru Hiker's example of clean, functional design and emphasis on quality suspension.
I've found the Gregory to be quite comfy, even though sometimes the hipbelt does rub me a little raw after a couple of hours of hiking.
Maybe this is to be expected? This is my first pack, so it's hard for me to make an educated comparison.
I'd say that my slight dscomfort could be at least partially blamed on this pack's non-infinitely adjustable suspension. Overall , the pack fits well, but not perfectly............a heck of a buy. If this is what you need to spend, take a long look at this!
I intend to move up to the osprey silhouette soon.
Of course, you shouln't hold that against the Thru Hiker.

Customer Service

They patiently provided me with all the information about pack fit I could digest.

Very good general pack. Has served well for two years. I have used it for as long as eight nights with a little room to spare. Feels great loaded with up to 60lbs. For the price, its a great deal.
