Great Backpack! Lots of room is its middle name. There is a spot for everything. Very comfortable and ergonomically fits every contour of your back and lumbar. Excellent at repelling water. Does not need a waterproof cover unless you are in a downpour. For the money, you can''t beat this pack

Customer Service

LL Bean is second to none.

This is the most comfortable backpack I have ever used. It adjusts well to fit my back and has plenty of external pockets that keep my gear organized. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding pack that doesn't have an outstanding price.

This pack is a great pack. I have owned this pack for about 4 years and use it about six times a year. It has never caused any problems. It has so many pockets that there is always enough space for everything. If you dont carry much then you can remove the external pockets to save on weight. I have used this pack to backpack 100+miles on several occasions and its great. It vents well unlike any other internal packs. If you want to save your money for something else, and still want a great pack, then i recommend this one.

Customer Service

Never need any service, but when I bought it they were very helpful.

An outstanding pack!!! I have taken this pack on three 10-day backpacking trips while carrying 50+ pounds on each trip. The pack carries the weight extremely well and fits my back very comfortably.
Despite claims that internal frame packs lack ventilation, this pack somehow overcomes it. While wearing the pack, my back has always remained nearly the same temperature as the rest of my body. It may be due to the design of the foam padding.
I have only experienced one minor problem with it. The buckle on the waist straps allows a slight amount of slipping, forcing you to tighten it frequently. I am sure that the buckle could be replaced. Of course it may be caused by the weight I carry in it or hopping over obstacles and rocks on the trail.

This is a great Backpack. It can adjust from smaller to larger loads. It has side pockets that are great for keeping things you need to get at quuickly (Map, Guidebook, etc.) It is comfortable. I have had mine for 1 1/2 years and it works great for 2-5 day trips in the White Mountains.

I love this backapck, it has served me well from Costa Rica to Mount Washington (in the winter)! I originally bought this backapack before I was really into backpacking and climbing mountains and I like the low price. For a whille I thought I was going to get a more popular brand (more reputable for packs). After I got into it I realized it fits my back well and I have no problems with it. My friends always complain with other brands that cost 400+ so I don't see why I should change. I recommmend it especially because you can take the money you saved and buy a bunch of new SHINY GEAR!

Where I live I do a lot of backpacking in the smokies, I have put this pack to the test. It is my favorite pack, it is one of the most comfortable packs I have ever owned (and over the years I have owned alot). It is light and has held up to all of the shit I have put it through.

This pack is the most comfortable I have ever owned. Although I have only had it for a month it is already my favorite pack. It is good for about a week on the trail. This pack is the best value you can find in an internal frame its size.

First, the pack is big. Real big. Plenty
of space. I use it primarily for travelling and less for backpacking. It fits in the overhead bin and also easily endures the baggage handlers. Only negative - with a sleeping bag it is really broad and looks huge. The cinch straps don't help much.

Customer Service

LL Bean is great. Lifetime guarantee.

This is an excellent pack with lots of room, and for a good price too! It is very comfortable, and the external pockets are removable if they are not needed , giving this pack a slim profile for manouverability. Could Easily handle a week's worth of gear, but is conversely able to be compressed for shorter trips. A great pack that I look forward to logging more time with.

Customer Service

LLBean is truly a wonderful place to purchase all your camping/hiking needs. They truly are excellent when it comes to customer service.
