Over the years, I have used numerous packs and decided that it was time to get a pack that met my EXACT needs. It had to be large enough for carrying 10+ days of food and gear for when the temperature goes from desert to alpine conditions. There are a lot of features that you can choose from, too numerous to list. Just talk to the owner about what you need and what you want. The features I selected were: all spectra fabric, side pockets, top flap cover, top pocket(L-shaped zipper opens wide), attachable accessory bag, 1 ice-ax loop, zipper to access the sleeping bag area, shelf between sleeping bag and main area, full length extension collar, full length accessory straps on hip belt, cam buckles on the hip belt, 2 daisy chains with bungee cord. The pack came exactly as I wanted. I believe the capacity is close to 6000 cu. in. plus another 1000 cu. in. with the extension collar. It weighs 4.12 lbs. empty. The pack loads easily, quickly. The harness and hip belt are very comfortable and carries the load close to you with no swaying, construction is excellent. Simply put, they are the best packs made.
