Bought this discontinued pack early in 2001, but didn''t get a chance to really use it until now. Bought it as a x-country ski/snowshoe pack. It''s a bit heavy for packs its size, but that''s because of the incredibly solid and stable suspension. Once you get the pack on you and use the suspension straps to customize the fit, there is NO sway or bob in this pack. I''ve used it for snowshoeing, and it has never felt heavy or cumbersome -- the straps allow you to really minimize it. My only complaint is the one outside pocket -- it''s design (with 2 side zips) makes it difficult to find things. However, I see the logic behind it with the crampon patch, which is a great place for me to store my snowshoes.

Customer Service
