I've had concerns about lightweight gear but this pack has me hooked. It carries the 25-30 for 2-3 days very well. I particularly like the way it moves with me rather than me moving with it. The point of gravity is low so there's no concern for balance when in precarious places or positions. The shoulder straps could be a little wider or maybe I'm just spoiled by my bigger pack but they do there job quit well. They even allow for my wide shoulders which few light packs do. Matter of fact, the entire pack has just enough of everything to perform well without all of the extra weight of heavier packs. This just may be the pack for anyone looking for maximum comfort and minimum wieght. A little pricy @ $195 but I'd buy it again.

Excellent volume. Light. Handles a light 2-3 day load for HI. Works as a day pack. Well thought out.

Pricy for the volume. But a good price at campmor.

The shoulder padding is thin. I have big shoulders and a long torso. The pack is at the maximum adjustment for me. Would prefer more torso adjustment on the shoulder straps.

Hip belt is light but holds up.

therma rest ultralight 3/4
and food and clothes for 2 days
with room to spare and nothing strapped
on the outside.

I will update after a few longer trips.

I think the pack is great and has no
real competition. I am using it as
a day pack and a overnighter. For my uses it is a compromise for both.

Wouldn't want to carry 35+ pounds for any length of time in it. But I really
do want to carry 35+ for any length of time. :)
