I just bought this pack to do several Grand Canyon trips. This pack was highly recommended to me by several people. It is a 2001 model and got it for a great price. I haven''t used it yet for a pack trip but loaded it up with weight to see how it felt for a day hike. My hips got a little sore but I think it is just because I''m not use to wearing a pack. I am amazed at all the straps and extras it comes with. I really like the idea of being able to trade out different options on it or adding to it. I also like the idea of being able to use the harness with the Solo that comes with it. One complaint: I took the stays out to fit to my back and they were TERRIBLE to get back in. I thought that I might just have to leave them out. I should have just bent them while they were inside the pack. It took about an hour to get them back in the pack and I had to use a hammer to get them in. Since I haven''t used it on a trip, I''ll put in another review afterwards. Besides the problem with the stays, I''m impressed with the pack.

Customer Service

Mountain Sports Boulder was fantastic. Keira was real helpful over the phone. I will definitely use them again.
