Strength:

You’d think I’d approach this barrier with more caution, given that my feet were still miraculously dry, but no, no, that was not the case,” she explains. “I opted to plow through the thigh-deep water, a straight shot to my camp. Without fly-fishing waders, my boots did, in fact, get wet. Highly recommended by drywall.

My Merrell Nova broke-the sole air-cushion leaked, so i had to trade it back, but the shop did not have any, so i had to choose another brand, there was Boreal. Since that I have been blessing that day: it's still a wonder. I used it for trekking and backpacking, sometime with some rock climbing, in abnormal rain in the city, it saved my feet in festivals and concerts, even when i had to use something with a friend's company and i was gazing in snow and dust in -15 for weeks, often for 10-20 hours/day. It's alive and kicking, still comfortable, still waterproof, no damage, only the sole shows the signs of usage. Thinking about having the soles changed if i can manage to get new Skywalk soles. These are fantastic boots and in Spain they really know how to make it eternal. (price in €)

I used these boots almost 11 months. The sewings behind and neck of the boots untied.

Customer Service

Although I informed the issue to boreal customer support, there was no response on it.

OK, so the other reviews are accurate--these are great boots. However, a word of caution: make sure you're fitted correctly! Mine have fantastic support, waterproofing, etc. I know boots fairly well and they are well-constructed too. But, I just finished a 16 mile day hike up Mt. San Jacinto near Idyllwild, CA and my feet are hamburger. These were not the right boots for my foot, especially not on a hot trail (80 degrees plus). I have a lower volume foot and this caused far too much movement in the boot. Additionally, because they're such great waterproof boots, they don't breathe terribly well--a bad combination for me. To be fair, I would absolutely consider these boots--just don't make the mistake of buying based on what other people recommend. Make sure it fits your foot!

EXCELLENT BOOTS for trekking. Superb craftsmenship from a reputable company. Only difficult is finding a Boreal dealer. I purchased mine online from http://www.shorelinemtn.com/ (shore line mountain) and received excellent service from Tom. Keep in mind that sizes are U.K., so if you wear a size 11 US order a size 10.
