COLUMBIA SPORTSWEAR Excellerator Mens Hiking Backpacking Boots

COLUMBIA SPORTSWEAR Excellerator Mens Hiking Backpacking Boots

DESCRIPTION

Rugged, waterproof and insulated--all in a streamlined design well suited to active winter adventures. Waterproof, breathable Omni-Tech(TM) membranes seal out the elements. Waterproof full-grain leather uppers and waterproof, injection-molded bottom shells offer support and added protection. Non-bulky Thermolite(R) insulation keeps feet warm down to -25 degrees F. Moisture wicking Dri-Lex(R) fleece linings help feet stay comfortably dry. EVA midsoles and removable EVA footbeds cushion your feet and absorb shock. Steel shanks offer torsional support; rigid external shank plates provide rearfoot stability while maintaining forefoot flexibility. Aggressive rubber lug outsoles provide solid traction in mud, snow and slush.

These boots do make feet sweat a bit more than usual but the insoles are removable for cleaning and deodorizing!

Strength:

Sufficiently cozy to be worn in public. The MTN Light 2 is just a superior boot—I've tried most of the big brands. See: https://www.nbroofs.com/dryer-vents-and-related-services

Strength:

They are lasting. The laces stay tied and I have good support. I am also happy that the Chinese have such good competition. Monopolies never work very well in the long run. They corrupt themselves. | house painters near me

Weakness:

Probably a good boot for desert environments, but not anywhere there's water or dampness

Strength:

The traction is pretty decent when i first wear it in Greensboro, and the boot looks good.

Weakness:

Winter boot temperature ratings seem to be pretty much meaningless.

These boots serve their purpose. Waterproof and durable but i recommend this use during winter or else your feet will get sweaty.

Strength:

They are waterproof, though. My feet sweat a lot, and if I wasn't using vapor barriers, the insides of these boots would be saturated at the end of the day. - www.photoboothofaustin.com/special-occasions

Strength:

The low version is perfect for those of us who, for whatever reason, hate ankle-covering boots. I have strong enough ankles to forgo the discomfort of high boots. It's hard to find supportive hiking shoes, and these are the best I've come across. Highly recommended by foundation professionals!

These are great for short or level snowshoeing, playing in the snow with the kids, etc. but I gave up on using these for anything more serious. Crawlspace
