I have had a pair of day hikers for a few months and they have been great. Tough-skinned and water tight and they don't wear at my ankles like some other similar boots. I would recomend these to anyone interested in long day hikingin hard pack to sloppy mud, these will hold up and who can beat the price.

Customer Service

LL Bean is always a good company to work with because they back their stuff.

Typically I do a good bit of aimless wandering around in the thick woods scouting for good hunting locations. These boots have worked well for me for two seasons, so far. What can you say about the cost of these boots - can't beat it. They perform well here in the warm, humid environment. Fairly light boot with good fit makes for reliable gear.

Customer Service

Fantastic customer service. They'll bend over backwards to keep the customer happy.

Compared to LaCross Pac boots and leather ""work boots"", these offer more support than the Pac boots without the discomfort of ""work boots"".

Great boot. Typical LL Bean quality. Beats the ""sneaker company"" competition.

I picked a pair of these up when I was in main at the LL bean store. The price was good and they fit the bill for the hiking I was going to be doing that week. The =y are confortable and keep my feet prety cool and dry which is important for a shoe to do. I would buy them again

Customer Service

What can you say about bean customer service? It is easily the best. You can return anyting anytime. I had a 4 yearold backpack thet ripped and they replaced it with no problems.

These boots are great. They are very comfortable and handle wet muddy conditions well with their excellent tread. I'm looking forward to testing them in the drier conditions of the Rockies. That's the reason I'm only giving 4 stars as of now.

Customer Service

LL Bean has a great reputation and customer service. I'm confident that if I ever have problems with these boots they will take care of it.

I've had these boots for about six months now and have enjoyed them very much. I live in the mountains of northern New Jersey and get alot of use out of these. The Gore-Tex does a relatively good job of keeping my feet dry, although wicking ability apparently was'nt one of their major design parameters. Wear good socks! Overall, my wife and I order regularlly from the L.L. Bean catalog, and will continue to do so.

Timberland Topozoic They did not fit right EVER! The plastic sole insert is a purely design-motivated waste of time! The sole design was a joke;having very little traction(even when new!).
