Excellent boot, high volume fit, tough enough, excellent hides and workmanship. Have used it for day hikes, hard use woods and off trail, busting up concrete and 'round town. Good moisture absorbtion, reasonable support,I was impressed with quailty but it's a better boot than I expected. On the other hand the scree cuff is a bit loose for my taste ( I have large circumferance ankles) but they do snug up and they ""seem"" clunky at times. Definitly a very good boot. They replace an old pair of Fabianos that I got when I lived in Oregon years ago. That Fab model is out of production and was one of the best boots on the planet. Workmanship on the LaSportiva is every bit as good but the Fabs had the stuff.
